The problem isn’t that Belfast lacks things to do but that the information can be scattered everywhere.
So, every week, we do the searching for you. We gather the best events, places and local discoveries into one short, easy-to-read email so you never miss the best of Belfast.

Who We Are
“I run Belfast Brief with my teenage daughter. We spent over a decade living outside NI, returning in 2020 to a Belfast that felt different — one increasingly loved by locals and drawing more outside interest every year. Now we’re exploring the city we live in and learning how to share it well. It’s become a real chance to build skills together: research, writing, and digital.”
How We Help
We’ll not cover every news story or every big event. We mainly want to shine a light on the people, the local businesses, the volunteers & the quiet good stuff that makes the city move.
Some recommendations will come as we explore Belfast ourselves. Others will come from local people, groups, businesses and, most importantly, readers who we hope will share their favourite discoveries with us.
